On Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, our crew travelled to Orillia, ON, where the North Simcoe Muskoka & District Labour Council was holding a campaign they called "Enough is Enough". The purpose is to fight the cost-of-living crisis and demand real solutions to the problems of poverty, housing, and inflation. The event was held in front of the office of Jill Dunlop, MPP. The campaign has five key demands: Real wage increases; keep schools and health care public; affordable groceries, realistic costs for gas and basic needs; rent control and affordable housing; and making the banks and corporations pay what is owed.
