Fierté Simcoe Pride raised awareness of diversity across Simcoe County during their annual Pride celebration that this year ran from July 30 through August 12, 2018.

Our crew at the OCANetwork, also known as Five Points Media, was happy to support our local LGBTQ community by reporting on various events, including flag raisings at the offices of the County of Simcoe and the Township of Springwater, and also the Niizh Manidook Pow Wow, held at Springwater Park as a celebration of Two-Spirit youth by the Chimnissing (Beausoleil First Nation).
